Rose, Violette & Capucine

Public Art

Description

2016

Gustave-Gauvreau Residence, Sept-Îles, Québec

Three landscapes named after flowers make eyes shine and perfume hearts with a joyous vitality. Poetic reconstructions of the majestic north coast panoramas, these three spaces transport us into a nature that marvels and surprises. The gaze roams freely over landscapes and invites discovery and reverie. Below the distant horizon, three granite benches emerge from the rock and offer, as the need arises, refuges filled with life. Places of contemplation and secrets, Rose, Violette and Capucine evoke happy memories that merge with the present.
