The sculpture expresses the meeting of individual and collective identities of the RCM of Rimouski-Neigette. Using noble materials and traditional and contemporary techniques, the work regroups the principal components and infrastructures that characterize people’s lives and movements: the road network, the hydrographic lines, the agricultural panorama, and the forest landscapes.
Occursus, Latin word which means gathering, meeting, or the act of coming to meet.
